CAL BANK SUPER SAVE ACCOUNT

This is a special investment product designed to address clients’ investment needs. It is a money market product that offers superior returns to clients, usually above prevailing savings rates.

WHAT YOU GET

Cal Bank Super Save is a high interest yielding investment with tenors ranging between three (3), Six (6) and Twelve (12) months

  • There is automatic roll-over of investments at the prevailing rate unless otherwise instructed by the client
  • Clients can discount their investments at any time before maturity
  • Flexible and diverse investment maturity options

  • You will need to be an account holder

REQUIREMENT

  • Completion and Submission of Super Save Application form.

FIXED DEPOSIT ACCOUNT

This is a high interest-bearing investment instrument specially offered to both corporate and individual clients. It is a safe and flexible form of investment. Withdrawals can be made before maturity but it will attract a discount rate.

OFFER DETAILS

  • Maturity period and investment amount determines the payable interest rates
  • Maturity period of three (3), six (6) and twelve (12) months
  • Notice is needed for disinvestment before maturity
  • The investment can be used as security for a loan
  • Competitive and negotiable interests for funds above certain limit

WHO QUALIFIES

  • You will need to be an account holder

REQUIEMENT

  • Completion and Submission of Fixed Deposit Application form
  • The initial amount to start the investment is GH¢ 5,000.00

TREASURY BILLS

A Treasury bill (T-Bills) is a short-term investment product (from 91 to 365 days) backed by the Bank of Ghana on behalf of the Government. Treasury bills are one of the safest forms of investment because they are backed by the Ghana Government and are considered risk-free.

DETAILS

  • Treasury bills are risk free
  • You may roll over both the principal and interest or continue with the investment (roll over the principal) and take your interest
  • Treasury Bills can easily be converted into cash.
  • No applicable transactions cost
  • T-Bills can be used as collateral to access loan from the Bank
  • There is no limit to how much one can buy. It depends on how much you are willing and able to buy

WHO IS ELIGIBLE

  • Anyone above 18 years can buy treasury bills. However, you can buy T-Bills for a minor and hold it in trust for him or her. It can also be held in trust for family members, friends or organizations.

REQUIREMENT

  • A Valid National ID
  • Completion and Submission of Treasury Bill Application form
  • A minimum of GH¢ 100.00
