This package offers insurance to make quality healthcare readily accessible and affordable to all government Teachers  and their dependents. These are the plan in this package.

  • Teachers’ Plan Premium

This plan comes with a membership card of 15 cedis, annual premium of 450.00 cedis and a monthly premium of 35.00 cedis.

ANNUAL OUT PATIENT LIMIT

Outpatient services are medical procedures or tests that can be done in a medical center without staying overnight. They include:

  1. Treatment related to acute , Non-Acute, and Chronic Medical Condition.
  2. Medical practioners’ and Specialists’ fees (Consultation)
  3. Minor Surgical Procedures (Dressings)
  4. Prescribed drugs (both proprietary and branded)
  5. Diagnosis such as lab tests, MRI scans, PET and CT scans, X-Rays, Pathology, Imaging, Ultrasound and other diagnostic tests and procedures
  6. Dental Care -Filling, Pain Relief, Extractions, etc.
  7. Spectacles – Subsidy on the frame & lens to a limit.
  8. Maternity Care (Ante Natal and Post Natal) – After the twelfth month of membership
ANNUAL IN- PATIENT LIMIT

In-patient services refer to the procedures that requires the patient to be admitted at the hospital. They include:

  1. Medical Practitioners’ and Specialists’ fees (Review)
  2. Maternity – Deliveries (Assisted or Normal) are covered to limit after the twelfth month of membership.
  3. Myomectomy
  4. All medical conditions requiring surgeries are covered to limit per procedure.
  5. Nursing Care
  6. Prescribed Drugs & Infusions
  7. Diagnosis such as lab tests, MRI scans, PET and CT scans, X-Rays, Pathology, Imaging, Ultrasound and other diagnostic tests and procedures.
  8. Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Costs
  9. Theatre Costs
OVERALL PLAN LIMIT
Claims will be paid for you up to the overall benefit level in each plan of the Insurance year, subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
