A non-governmental organization (NGO) is a voluntary group of individuals or organizations, usually not affiliated to any government, that is formed to provide services or to advocate a public policy. NGOs take up and complete projects to promote the welfare of the community they work with. They work to address various concerns and issues prevailing within the society. NGOs are not-for-profit bodies which means they do not have any commercial interest.

In this article, we take a look at the various loans available for NGOs in Ghana. There are local and international NGOs in Ghana. Local NGOs are managed and sponsored by local individuals and donors and international NGOs are fully partnered and sponsored by international organizations and individual foreign donors.
